"Kenowa Hills Public Schools has placed an emphasis on the importance of Character Education. All buildings have included strategies in their school improvement plans to emphasize the guiding principals of appropriate character such as responsibility, respect, compassion, honesty, trustworthiness, courage, and loyalty. We recognize that teaching appropriate character must be a joint responsibility between parents and our schools. There is no greater nor more essential ingredient to a positive and productive learning environment than parent involvement. At Kenowa Hills we strive to provide a number of opportunities for parent input and contribution in schools. Our parents have made a real commitment to our schools. Some volunteer for classroom work which make our schools so outstanding. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to become involved; our Parent Teacher Organizations are the best. It has been proven time and again that students whose parents become involved with their education do better in school. We can grow stronger with the help and support of our parents and we encourage you to take an active role in your student's success."
